About Genesis

Tim and Philippa are a brother and sister team who share an immense passion for guiding people towards increased health & well being. In 1997, with two lifetimes of nationwide experience across the UK leisure industry, they felt ready to combine their expertise & set up on their own. However, Genesis was to become no ordinary fitness centre.

Both Tim & Philippa were so disillusioned with how the fitness industry promotes itself to the body beautiful end of the market. More often than not, a client becomes a fee-paying membership number surrounded by weights & mirrors & trainers who really don’t care.

Life change can be incredibly overwhelming, intimidating & expensive, and so often people fall at the first hurdle.Genesis doesn’t let you fall. Genesis recognises the importance of guiding & nurturing ordinary people every step of the way. Genesis means “a new beginning”, you’ll be encouraged to let go of your fears, to trust & be supported. The Genesis team gently empower you to find your inner strength & become the special, amazing person that you are.
