Membership Fees
I hope you are safe and well and keeping up with regular exercise during these unprecedented times.
I wanted to give you an update on where you stand in terms of your membership fees. Many of you will by now, have had a phone call from one of the Genesis Team to make sure you are well and to answer any questions you may have.If you haven’t received a call yet, please be patient we are working through a very long list.
I would like to give a massive thank you for all the messages of support for Genesis we have received from our amazing clients, it really shows us how much of a community we are and it pushes us to continue to deliver our service to you.
In my previous email I mentioned that as a member focussed gym and we rely on our membership fees to keep going. The chancellor has laid out plans for businesses, to support its staff which is fantastic and means once we are able to safely re-open, we anticipate to start up exactly where we left off.
Excluding the cost of staff there are still financial commitments the gym has, to keep it running. This is why we have asked that if you are in a position to keep your membership going through this time of closure it will help us, as a small local independent business. We also see it as a vote of confidence and confirmation in you returning to the gym as soon as we are open.
Any fees paid to Genesis during the current closure will be reimbursed in various forms, this means if you are on;
A Course – You can come and pick up where you left off.
Year in advance membership – Your renewal date will be pushed back by the length of the closure.
Standing order membership – When you return to Genesis you will be offered extra Personal Training sessions or the chance to bring a friend or family member to the gym for a free membership period.
